About the role

As a Product Manager, you will be at the forefront of driving product strategy, development, and success. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and commercial, to bring our product vision to life. Your role will encompass everything from conducting market research and defining product roadmaps to launching new products or elevating existing ones. What you'll be doing:

  • Product Strategy and Vision: Develop a clear product strategy and vision by understanding customer needs, market trends, and business objectives. Define the product roadmap and communicate it effectively to stakeholders.


  • Product Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and commercial, to define product requirements, features, and user experiences. Drive the product development process, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software.


  • Managing a team: You’ll be responsible for managing a team of five, including internal UX/UI designers as well as a wider team of remote working Freelancers and Contractors. You should be able to align and manage each team member effectively to deliver strong results across multiple projects.   


  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer feedback analysis to identify market trends, user needs, and opportunities for product enhancement. Use this information to make informed decisions and prioritise product features.


  • Product Planning: Create and maintain a detailed product backlog, including user stories, feature prioritisation, and acceptance criteria. Work closely with the development team to plan and execute product sprints and releases.


  • User Experience: Advocate for an exceptional user experience and work closely with UX/UI designers to ensure the product is intuitive, visually appealing, and meets user expectations. Conduct user testing and gather feedback to drive continuous improvement.


  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including growth, customer support, customer success and executive teams, to gather requirements, address concerns, and align product strategy with overall business objectives. Effectively communicate product updates and progress to stakeholders.


  • Product Launch and Adoption: Coordinate and execute successful product launches, including the preparation of release notes, documentation, and training materials. Work with the sale and marketing teams to guide and influence the best go to market strategy for each release. Develop growth loop strategies to drive user adoption, engagement, and retention, continuously monitoring key metrics.


  • Data Analysis and Optimisation: Utilize data-driven insights, analytics, and feedback loops to monitor product performance, identify areas for improvement, and optimise product features and functionality.


  • Customer Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with key customers, gather feedback, and understand their pain points and needs. Advocate for customer-centricity and incorporate customer feedback into future product development and improvement efforts.


  • Industry Knowledge and Trends: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings. Continuously expand knowledge and expertise in SaaS products and related domains.


What we need from you (essential):

  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager for a SaaS oriented product

  • Strong understanding of product management principles, processes, and best practices

  • Experience in managing end-to-end development projects 

  • Proficiency in utilizing project management tools like Jira is essential

  • Proven track record of successfully launching and managing software products

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

  • Passion for technology and keeping up with industry trends

  • Able to overcome challenges quickly and effectively

  • Be adaptable and be able to work on strict deadlines

  • You'll need to work under pressure and be smart with your time
