A Technical Support Executive is responsible for assisting customers with technical issues or questions relating to hardware or software devices. Their duties include taking phone calls from customers or communicating with them, helping customers diagnose technical issues over the phone and speaking with them about software installations, connections & troubleshooting.
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Excellent oral and written communication skills, should be able to handle UK customers.
2. Provide IT assistance to include application support, hardware and software installation and troubleshooting.
3. Answering phone calls, writing replies to emails and excelling in customer service
4. Providing technical solutions to different problems of clients by taking the help of different tools.
5. Ensure that the call comments are properly arranged and suitable information is provided to clients.
6. The standard of each call should be properly maintained in a comprehensive manner taking into view each aspect of attending the customer, listening to their problems and offer appropriate solutions to them
7. Providing support to internal and external end users.
8. The job will require handling inbound calls / Emails / Chats regarding technical issues for end users.
Skills Required:
1. Previous experience of any international process with hardware troubleshooting is preferred.
2. Ability to learn and adapt hardware and software.
3. Assessing the customer support needs.
4. Should have the ability to work in a team and interact with the client.
5. Should be empathetic and flexible to interact with agitated customers.
